There is another prophecy by Lord Galilee Shembe which he often touched on, and it led to each Shembeite leader being referred to as Lord Galilee Shembe’s reincarnation. But I no longer hear of such a reference!
Lord Galilee Shembe said: “I will depart from your midst, but after thirty to forty years I shall return; the ember shall, once more, rise from the ashes!”
1.Shabbat Shalom to the saints. The topic for this sermon is: “Shembe’s Revelation about the Nazarite Faith.”
2.Proverbs 1:24-33 “Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; But ye have set at nought all my counsel,
3. and would none of my reproof, I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh….. when distress and anguish cometh upon you.
4. Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:
5. For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the Lord: They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.
6. Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices. For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.
7. But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.”
8.The word “revelation” means a prediction of things that will come to pass in the future.
9.In the Bible, many prophets used to prophesy, and those included Isaiah, Jeremiah and others. In the New Testament we have two popular prophecies: Yeshua’s prophecy in Matthew 24 and the Revelation of John.
10.Another prophet who made numerous predictions, some of which have been fulfilled, was Prophet Isaiah Shembe (peace be upon him).
11.But today I will focus on Lord Galilee Shembe’s prophecies.
12.I am aware that Lord Galilee Shembe’s prophecies directly pertain to the Nazarites, a situation that often invites insults from those who discover that such prophecies pertain to them!
13.But a prophecy is a didactic message that should be accessible to the people because it often testifies to the fact that the prophet has been sent by God, especially if the prophecy gets fulfilled!
14.In one sermon, Lord Galilee Shembe is heard saying: “When we, the Shembes, vanish beyond that hill, many Shembes will emerge.
15.Many will come forward and claim to be Shembe, and people will follow them; even a monkey will come forward and claim: ‘I, too, am Shembe,’ and people will follow them.
16.But I am advising you to consume Shembe instead of simply applying him on your bodies because he will quickly disappear if you only apply him.
17.I implore you to search for the spiritual Shembe because the material Shembe comes to an end. However, the spiritual Shembe endures forever.
18.Dusk will fall, and many will walk in darkness. God will bring down His judgement here at eKuphakameni; there will be judgement through a man.
19. MaMthembu’s judgement was much better because God made Counselling through a woman; today He will bring judgement through a man that wears trousers just like me, and he will be my seed.”
20.I am aware that numerous Nazarites do not know what ‘instigation’ is. After the demise of Prophet Shembe, there emerged a woman, MaMthembu, who claimed that Prophet Isaiah Shembe’s Spirit had descended upon her; she then claimed to be the leader of the Nazarite Assembly.
21.This story is long, but briefly, at the emergence of MaMthembu, a tumult broke out within this church, but it was later overcome!
22.Lord Galilee Shembe once said that the same situation would occur once more after his departure.
23.But that agitation would be presided upon by a male, and that male would emerge from among his seed.
24.Indeed, that came to pass; the person who divided the assembly emerged from among Lord Galilee Shembe’s progeny.
25.And after Lord Galilee Shembe’s departure, many leaders emerged from the Shembe family. Maybe they are now more than five! Each of them claims: “I am Shembe!”
26.There is another prophecy by Lord Galilee Shembe which he often touched on, and it led to each Shembeite leader being referred to as Lord Galilee Shembe’s reincarnation. But I no longer hear of such a reference!
27.Lord Galilee Shembe said: “I will depart from your midst, but after thirty to forty years I shall return; the ember shall, once more, rise from the ashes!”
28.The saying: “the ember shall, once more, rise from the ashes,” means that when something seems to have been permanently subdued, it will, once more, rise!
29.This prophecy of Lord Galilee Shembe is being closely followed by the Nazarites, each individual claiming that their leader is the embodiment of Lord Galilee Shembe’s reincarnation!
30.The period of 30 was completed in 2007 since the departure of Lord Galilee Shembe. But in 2007 an angel by the name of Hlaleleni arrived, saying that she was with Lord Galilee Shembe!
31.That angel came and dwelled with us up to this very day. What is even profound, more than anything, is that the angel, just like Lord Galilee Shembe, has rekindled the Nazarite faith which was brought to our midst by Prophet Isaiah Shembe (peace be upon him).
32.She did mention that she had been commissioned by Lord Galilee Shembe to revive the Nazarite faith!
33.Was the prophecy around Lord Galilee Shembe’s return fulfilled?
34.Lord Galilee Shembe said: “After thirty to forty years, I shall return; the ember shall rise from the ashes!”
35.What is factual is that when the Nazarite faith was thought to have been vanquished, the angel just emerged from thin air and revived it! I am not sure if Lord Galilee Shembe’s prophecy was also fulfilled.
36.But today I wish to touch on Lord Galilee Shembe’s revelation that he presented in the 1970s just before he departed from this planet.
37.I think I can liken this prophecy to that of Yeshua in Matthew 24!
38.This prophecy was related by Rev. Madlala who was present when all this happened. He was the only surviving priest among those ordained by Lord Galilee Shembe and he has recently passed away. Rev. Madlala said:
39.”We were at eKuphakameni, and the assembly house had been built; life was good!
40.We were used to that good life; we had been healed by the Word for many years. We would be healed just at our entrance, even before we were prayed for.
41.Life was good at eKuphakameni because of leadership; the Glory of Yahuah was great; we thought of nothing else except entering heaven. We did not even want to be touched by impious people.
42.In a certain year, when Lord Galilee Shembe was already ageing and when I was a priest, the Lord was deeply anguished.
43.After that service he was so deeply agonised until he passed away.
44.It was in July when we were gathered at eKuphakameni and the Lord presented a long sermon on self-love and loving God.
45.The Lord expanded on what Shembe had taught, touching on good news on the conduct expected of us here at eKuphakameni.
46.The Lord mentioned a future moment that would be marked by the expansion of the influence of the Nazarite faith worldwide. He said nothing is going to be as beautiful as the Nazarite faith on earth.
47.We were delighted and shouted in a celebratory mood because blacks were nonentities those days; even the Nazarite faith was a laughingstock since there were many negative teachings about it.
48.We reckoned that we would be an acceptable people in the world; we would move with liberty even outside the boundaries of the Zulu territory.
49.While we were happy, we saw the Lord’s countenance becoming extremely gloomy; he mourned bitterly, and we had no clue what should be done. He closed the service and had us praying.
50.The prayer was thoroughly prolonged that day until I opened my eyes and realised that the Lord had left us alone at Paradise.
51.I looked at my fellow priests and found that they, too, had opened their eyes. It was Rev. Khumalo who closed the prayer with ‘Amein,’ and the assembly responded accordingly.
52.The people became aware that the Lord had left us and wept; the mourning was quite bad, and we tried to comfort them though we were also deeply anguished.
53.We vacated the house of worship and looked for the Lord in the white house; we found him mourning, having many handkerchiefs, and children were no longer entering that house.
54.We, too, wept and threw ourselves at his feet, asking him to tell us our error and sin.
55.He could not even face us. About an hour after we had entered the white gloomy house, as he was still weeping, he then said:
56.“I am anguished; my heart is troubled; I am deeply scared of what will happen after my departure. I see blood flowing here at eKuphakameni!
67.God will abandon this mission station, and it will become a den of thieves, whores, adulterers and witches; only the dead will remain here, thinking that they are still alive.
58.This mission station will be destroyed; great sorrow will prevail after my departure. THOSE WHO ARE COMING WILL NOT REPENT!
59.They will not want the Word of the Almighty; they will not listen even to the one who is coming. AFTER MY DEPARTURE, PEOPLE WILL ACCEPT THE FAITH ONLY BECAUSE THEY WANT MONEY!
60.They will not pay attention to the word from above; others will arrive here with their tendencies, their traditions. They will practise their traditional customs, those that Shembe banned in your midst.
61.Mediums and witches will enter and exit with ease. The wicked will drive the righteous away from eKuphakameni.
62.In your homesteads I see vessels of beer and mediums dancing in the homesteads of the Nazarites. I see you feasting with and marrying your children away to the impious!
63.I SEE PEOPLE JOINING THIS FAITH IN DROVES. THEY WILL COME ALREADY FULL OF KNOWLEDGE; THEY WILL NOT SUBMIT TO LEADERSHIP; THEY WILL NOT LOVE THE WORD THAT HAS GATHERED US!
64.They will come with their knowledge; they are clever and have sweet talks, they are persuasive and opinionated, and they have visions. You will even be convinced and will abandon the principles my Father left with you.
35.I am begging you: teaching those who are coming and leave those who are not interested; the wheat will be separated from the chaff!
66.Do not give in even when that is the case; reject whatever Shembe did not say in your midst and reject whatever I have rejected.
67.They will advise you to brew the beer, to perform magic and they will take you back to what has been done away with, saying this is the way of your forebears, you must not abandon it.
68.I will leave you with only one law, which I am also giving to you; it is the one my Father taught you.”
69.The Lord then wept in sorrow; he brought his hands toward himself. He commanded us to stand at the gates and declare what had been declared. Even at openings of holy assemblies, we should teach each other about the Father’s principles!
70.Rev. Madlala’s sermon is important because it is a Revelation of Lord Galilee Shembe about things that would happen after his departure. Today they are being fulfilled right in our full view!
71.Firstly, the Lord said he saw blood flowing at eKuphakameni after his departure. Indeed, while the corpse of Lord Galilee Shembe was still at the mortuary, the Nazarites stoned somebody who then died on the spot, at eKuphakameni.
72.After about six months after the departure of the Lord, there erupted a leadership contest, and more than four people were shot to death.
73.Such a power contest forced Lord Amos Shembe to vacate the residence of eKuphakameni and establish another residence at eBuhleni; only a handful of the Nazarites remained behind at eKuphakameni just as per what Lord Galilee Shembe had said.
74.After that there prevailed a tendency of murder cases among the Nazarites even upon Mount Nhlangakazi, and more than ten individuals lost their lives.
75.Secondly, Lord Galilee Shembe predicted the expansion of the Assembly, but this expansion was going to bring about a different breed of the Nazarites.
76.Indeed, after Lord Galilee Shembe, the assembly’s membership rose exponentially, but that increase was accompanied by obvious mass apostasy!
77.All of a sudden, the assembly started having faith healers and mediums; the Nazarites became experts in traditional practices pertaining to sacrificing to ancestral spirits, raising the dead, admitting the dead, consulting mediums, beer drinking practices, and many other practices that contradict the Nazarite principles.
78.Rev. Madlala said that Lord Amos Shembe once said: “Return to your clairvoyance tendencies and return to all your customary practices that Shembe prohibited you from practising.
79.What has bound itself will also unbind itself; my Father and the Lord have taught you, but you are refusing to return to the Word of the Lord.”
80.Rev. Madlala continued, saying: “I was absolutely disappointed when we were at Ermelo; when I was rebuking someone for something, a matured, old man said: “Move with the times!”
81.You too, children of the Lord, do not imitate that man; do not conduct yourselves as those who have been said to be coming because they will make the Nazarite faith look similar to earthly things!
82.We are from Lord Amos Shembe right now, and he is also disappointed about the tumult within these premises. He says he does not know whether you are saying Shembe should return to his heavenly home or you simply hate him.
83.He says he no longer wishes to be with us; he has repeated the words of the departed Lord. He says you must return to your divination practices and all traditional customs from which Shembe prohibited you.
84.What has bound itself will unbind itself. He says, “my Father and the Lord have taught you; you are refusing to return to the Word of the Lord.
85.My Father will keep quiet until you declare that you return to him; and he will unleash trouble which will consume us.”
86.With this sermon I am reminding those Nazarites who want to go to heaven that Lord Amos Shembe mentioned the concern about the situation that prevails in this assembly. Lord Galilee Shembe’s prophecy was fulfilled!
87.In this statement, Lord Galilee Shembe said, ” I WILL LEAVE WITH ONLY ONE LAW WHICH, WHICH I AM ALSO GIVING TO YOU; IT IS THE ONE MY FATHER TAUGHT YOU.”
May the Lord bless His Word.
