In 1925 the Prophet had this to say about the mediums that are now harboured at eBuhleni:
“My children, the evil one operates with mediums as his agents as well as all those who accept being the donkeys under the sway of evil spirits, for their source is Satan.
That is why yesterday I instructed you to receive the Holy Spirit only, for he is of Aluah; do not receive a single spirit that wants what contradicts this book of Aluah. Be wary of mediums for they are the altar and the seat of Satan among the people.
Hymn 143.
1. Our faith
Within this Nazarite faith
Is a slippery rock
With which struggle.
2. If you want to follow us
To where we are going,
First have good courage,
For where we are going.
3. The path is narrow,
With stones and thorns.
It is taken by the few,
To where we are going.
4. Do you indeed have courage
To walk on that path
It is the slippery rock
With which the majority struggles.
5. Come you heroes,
Proclaim it loudly
Defend the cowards.
Quickly organise the armies.
1.I occasionally explain that the prophet’s name “Shembe” was given to him by his earthly grandfather, Nhliziyo. This name was received by his grandfather in a vision before Shembe was born.
2.There is a notion that according to the Zulu traditional religion, there is no religion, but there is something known as Traditional Spiritualism, and it is fundamentally different from the religion that was brought by the gentiles.
3.I do not know if the Nazarite faith system comprises what one may call a religion or spiritualism. But what I do know is that Aluah came to Shembe when he was 12 years old, having not seen the Bible.
4.A squad that dwelled with him in a compound thought that he was being possessed by a spirit of divination. They would even say that he was destined to becoming a great medium.
5.I will not repeat the narrative on circumstantial factors that led to Shembe becoming a faith leader because I have explained this on several occasions.
6.After coming across the Bible, Shembe had an encounter with Yahuah and subsequently founded this assembly upon the precept of worshipping Yahuah by observing His laws as per Moshe’s writings.
7.Shembe wrote this precept in verse 3 of the Shabbat Liturgical Prayer which says: “FEAR YAHUAH, O GENERATIONS UPON GENERATIONS AND OBSERVE HIS LAWS WHICH HE, YAHUAH, WROTE THROUGH HIS SERVANT MOSHE, SO THAT YOUR WORSHIP MAY BE ACCEPTABLE TO THE LORD OF HOSTS.”
8.In verse 11 of the Shabbat Liturgical Prayer, Shembe emphasises that we should always stick to our faith when he says: “REMEMBER, THEN THAT TODAY YOU MADE A VOW WITH YAHUAH YOUR ALUAH, THAT YOU WILL STAY IN YAHUAH’S HOUSE UNTIL THE END OF YOUR DAYS.” Shembe wrote down the fact that indeed our Aluah is Yahuah.
9.But today my sermon is more concerned with these Christian pastors, some of whom even claim that they are chief prophets, who are now attacking me supposedly in defence of ubuNazaretha.
10.What do these Christians know about the Nazarite faith system? What on earth do they know about my pivotal work within the Nazarite Faith?
11.When I started writing books on ubuNazaretha, I wrote a book titled “uShembe nobuNazaretha (Shembe and the Nazarite Faith).” Aunt Kekane who had grown up with my mother came to me and said:
12.“The Prophet’s prophecy has been fulfilled in my lifetime. When the Prophet adopted your mother, he said she would bring forth children who would be endowed with Shembe’s Spirit even if they are not of the Shembe family. You are the child who is Shembe’s servant; what you are doing is the fulfilment of the Prophet’s prophecy.”
13.I also asked the angel why I was commissioned to lead the Nazarite assembly though I am not of the Shembe family.
14.The angel said: “While this Nazarite assembly was still new, divine messengers came to the Prophet and said: “This assembly will vanish as time progresses, but it is your offspring that will bring it to its end. Now, how are you going to mitigate against that
situation?”
15.The angel said the Prophet pointed at my mother, saying: “I am asking of Yahuah to bless my orphan so that among her offspring there may be a child who will be endowed with Shembe’s Spirit even though he is not from the Shembe family. In the heavenly realm you are the one who was chosen to fight in defence of Yahuah’s assembly against all problems that confront it!”
16.In 1992, while I was still stationed as a magistrate at the Madadeni Magistrate’s Office, I saw three priests: reverends Mthethwa, Mathonsi and Mgabhi coming to me. They said they had been sent by Lord Amos Shembe to fetch me.
17.I travelled to eBuhleni and Shembe called me and my brother, the late Rev. Mpanza, to enter the house. He then said: “This is what I intend telling you: ”ALUAH WILL MAKE BOTH OF YOU ACCOUNT FOR THE FALL AND RISE OF THIS ASSEMBLY; I AM DONE!”
Here I am clarifying to these Christians that the duration of my ministry within this Nazarite assembly is very long!
18.At my tender age, probably while I was still in Std 3 (Grade 5), I had a dream in which I saw a big book, even bigger than the Bible; it was written “THE NAZARITE BIBLE”.
19.I was extremely excited and said, “Wow, the Nazarites, too, have a Bible!” Then a disembodied voice was heard saying: “DO NOT GET EXCITED BECAUSE THIS BIBLE WILL BE WRITTEN BY YOU!”
20.I could not figure out the meaning of that statement. But my recorded sermons are now volumes that exceed 4000 pages because from 2010 there has never been a single Yom Shabbat when I did not preach. This dream about the Nazarite Bible has been fulfilled; we now needto compile the Bible itself!
21.On 4 January 2010, the angel knelt before me and said: “I am being sent by Lord Galilee Shembe to you; he is saying you must come out of the eBuhleni faction and build him Yahuah’s assembly.
22.In this assembly you will teach the people how to properly worship Yahuah; you will base your teachings on the Bible and the Nazarite Hymnal. Base them also on the Prophet’s teachings that he imparted to the Nazarites.”
23.When I dissociated myself from the eBuhleni faction, I made the announcement on both electronic and press media, explaining that Lord Galilee Shembe had ordered me to leave the faction.
24.The late Rev. Vimbeni Shembe sent a word to the Nazarites, advising them not to verbally abuse me; he even invited Lord Galilee Shembe’s widows and told them that I had been sent by Lord Galilee Shembe to establish an assembly on his behalf. I was told by them!
25.Up to this very moment, I am still focusing on my specific commission, that is, teaching the people on the most appropriate way of worshipping Yahuah!
Therefore, the notion that I came out of the eBuhleni faction through ‘the back door’, according to this Christian’s claim, does not make sense to me!
26.On 26 March 2011, when the angel came to anoint me, she dressed me with a clerical gown and said it was not necessarily connected with my anointing, but it was Lord Galilee Shembe’s token of gratitude for my lifetime work on the protection of Shembe’s legacy and the Nazarite Faith! But nowadays, my mandate is to speak on Yahuah and revive His faith system as per the Prophet’s teachings!
27.The fact that ALUAH WOULD MAKE ME ACCOUNT for the fall and rise of this assembly and that LORD GALILEE SHEMBE ORDERED ME TO LEAVE THE EBUHLENI FACTION AND YAHUAH’S ASSEMBLY ON HIS BEHALF ARE MESSAGES THAT WERE BROUGHT TO ME IN BROAD DAYLIGHT. The Nazarite Assembly was founded by Prophet Isaiah Shembe (peace be upon him) and it conducts itself in accordance with Yahuah’s fundamental tenets; it is not just an assembly that belongs to the Shembe family!
28.The fall of the assembly is not about the complete extermination of the assembly, but it is about mass apostasy against Aluah!
29.I have been working for the Nazarite assembly for donkey’s years now. In 1985, I went to a national radio station and challenged the Christians to come onto the public debate platform and explain Shembe’s supposed fatal attempt to fly.
30.The Christians had filled the hall up to its maximum capacity, but nobody ever testified to such a myth! Today such a myth is non-existent!
31.In 1992, I received an invitation to go and represent that Nazarite faith in an INTERFAITH CONFERENCE, held in Pretoria.
32.Since this assembly used to fall under Christianity, I asked Lord Amos Shembe to allow me to remove the Nazarite assembly from the jurisdiction of Christianity.
33.When the Lord asked me why I would do that, I said I wanted us to speak on Shembe and the Nazarite Faith without being disturbed by the Christians. He then granted me his permission.
34.When I arrived at the conference Christians opposed me, saying the Nazarite Faith fell under their religion, and the adherents of Zulu traditional religion also claimed that the Nazarite Faith fell under their religion. Muslims and the Jews then said I was the one who should explain.
35.I then said that African traditional religion was founded upon the voice of men whereas the Nazarite Faith is based on the Voice of Heaven.
36.Though these faiths have one deity, the leader of the Christians is Jesus whereas that of the Nazarites is Shembe.
37.The meeting attendees indicated their satisfaction with the reasons that I advanced on why the Nazarite assembly had to become an independent faith system.
38.After that conference it’s me who also went to a national radio station with a view to asking for a slot in which the Nazarite assembly could preach independently. I named that slot USHEMBE NOBUNAZARETHA (SHEMBE AND THE NAZARITE FAITH).
39.In 1996, when the Nazarite assembly was invited to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission in order to testify on its abuse by the government and missions during the apartheid era, I went there alone because other ordained members refused to accompany me.
40.Each denomination was represented by 12 members, but I was alone, representing the entire Nazarite assembly!
41.After my presentation, the TRC chairperson rose and admitted that Shembe was insulted, and that it was claimed that he tried to fly and died. That cleric then said I should ask for forgiveness on behalf of the Christians from the leader of the Nazarites!
42.It’s me who started preaching and singing about Shembe and the Nazarite Faith, providing the historical narrative of Prophet Isaiah Shembe (peace be upon him). I wrote numerous books on Shembe and the Nazarite Faith; I wrote another book in English.
43.I have visited almost all tertiary institutions in KZN speaking on Shembe and the Nazarite Faith. At Wits University I used to present papers in which I addressed international scholars of theology, unpacking Shembe’s theology and the Nazarite Faith!
44.Now, what do these pathetic Christians know about the Nazarite Faith? What do they know about my seminal contributions to the Nazarite assembly?
45.Today it’s the Christians who have the guts to
reprimand me for turning the Nazarites from their collective apostasy against Aluah? What on earth do Christians know about the Nazarite Faith?

48.That is why yesterday I instructed you to eceive the Holy Spirit only, for he is of Aluah; do not receive a single spirit that wants what contradicts this book of Aluah. Be wary of mediums for they are the altar and the seat of Satan among the people.
49.Never admit the medium through the gates at your residences, including here at eKuphakameni and all Aluah’s mission stations, never admit them, neither should you ever enter matrimonial relations with mediums, my children nor should you receive anything from their hand.
50.In anyway DO NOT ASSOCIATE WITH ANYBODY WHO COMMUNICATE WITH THE DEAD ON THEIR OWN for that one is the seat of evil spirits that have been rejected and excluded from heaven, spirits which have returned through that medium in order to corrupt the earth so that the kingdom of darkness may abound on earth, for they strive to humiliate Yahuah.
51.My children, if you dare admit a medium and be possessed by evil spirits within this Nazarite Faith, know that from that day onwards this Nazarite Faith will have been done away with, it will be non- existent! For Aluah’s first adversary is the medium.
52.Because whenever Yahuah promulgates an ordinance through the prophet’s mouth, Satan makes his own law which contradicts Yahuah’s through the mouth of mediums and all those who bow to spirits that were rejected by Yahuah.
53.If you dare admit them, my children, you will have destroyed the Nazarite Faith, you will have driven Aluah from your midst!
54.For Yahuah will write that you have abandone Him that day by admitting His enemy in His holy house, and that you dined and drank with him!
55.That day Yahuah’s Law will vanish among you and Satan’s law which will be brought by the medium you will have let in Yahuah’s house shall prevail, so that you may drive Yahuah away with him, because Yahuah does not dwell where the medium stays.
56.That very day your children will be possessed by deadly evil spirits, and they will bring down evil upon those that will dare reject them, and even kill others, for you will have driven Yahuah away from your midst!”
57.In his sermon he delivered in 1927, this is what the Prophet said about slaughtering for ancestral spirits: ‘You heard in the recently promulgated law that you will no longer venerate ancestral spirits and the law that prohibits you from associating with your brothers who engage in such practices; for those who engage in such acts are abominable to Yahuah.
58.Nhliziyo’s children, it would be good of you to remember them at the great altar, in Yahuah’s residence at eKuphakameni, rather than behaving like those who do not have Aluah.”
59.The Prophet based his condemnation of mediums and the ritual of slaughtering for the dead on the Bible, from Leviticus 20:27, where Yahuah says: “A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones: their blood shall be upon them; and in Psalm 106:28-29 where it says:
60.“They joined themselves also unto Baalpeor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead. Thus they provoked him to anger with their inventions.”
61.Right now, the eBuhleni announces that he is a god! There is no sin as atrocious as calling oneself God! But there are Christians who say we must not condemn that!
62.At eBuhleni they openly worship with mediums, some of whom are ordained members, being ministers of the Word of Aluah. Slaughtering for the dead is officially appropriate, but Christians say we should condemn this!
63.I was sent by Shembe to rectify Yahuah’s assembly; am I being attacked by Christians now? In other words, are these Christian priests I must not condemn such apostate acts of the Nazarites?
64.The Prophet says if we dare allow the medium to come to our midst, WE WILL HAVE DESTROYED THE NAZARITE FAITH, WE WILL HAVE DRIVEN ALUAH AWAY FROM OUR MIDST!
65.These Christian prophets and pastors say I must not condemn all these filthy practices that are so prevalent in the Nazarite assembly though I was sent by Shembe himself to make sure that the Nazarite Faith does not collapse!
66.I implore other Christians to rebuke these fake prophets from and advise them not to lose their sanity at my expense because I can see they are pursuing an agenda of annihilating the Nazarite Faith, but they are just pretending to be on the side of the notorious Nazarite leaders who have come all out to destroy Yahuah’s assembly!
67.The angel advised while Rev. Vimbeni Shembe was still alive that I would bow to no other Shembe leader because though they are the leaders on earth, but they are not known in heaven!
68.Whatever I say is not derived from my own opinions; I have been advised on what I may or may not do!
