The High Priest’s struggle pertains to opening the minds of the people of this world by teaching them how God, whose name is Yahuah, is to be worshipped. This is a struggle because it vanquishes the evil one’s army.
This soldier was conscripted to get involved in the combat of the Nazarites of God because the army of Satan must be conquered, willy nilly!
Boker Shabbat Sermon, dated 7 September 2024: By Rev. Dr M. Xakaza.
HYMN 195: I LOVE IT AS I HEAR ABOUT IT
1.I love it as I hear about it
That land to come
I will be comforted and see it
O my heart!
2.How joyful will I be
When I see that land
Which I love without seeing.
O my heart!
3.O my heart
Do not leave Yahuah
He is the rock of my heart
He is a shade of refuge.
4.It is He who loved me
As I love from being told
Of that land to come
O my heart!
5.O my heart, help me
Cling to Yahuah
The first trumpet’s been sounded
I wait for the second one!
6.Amein, Amein, Amein.
Amein, Amein, Amein, Amein.
Amein, Amein, Amein, Amein.
Amein, Amein, Amein.
1.I salute the Lord, the Creator of heaven and earth. Th topic for this sermon is: “The struggle for our liberation is not yet over.”
2. Today my heart is pondering on the nature of this day, as per the announcement that was issued last Shabbat.
3. This is a great and august day. I know that whenever we think of angels some of us hardly delve deeper in thoughts in order to recall that they are the sons and celestial warriors of God’s hosts.
4. I get elated whenever I think that God led me towards His high mountain which is His Nazarite Church of God, His holy assembly.
5. While I was just a nonentity, Yahuah led me to this mountain and opened my mind so that I could perceive the importance of the Nazarite faith to us humans, particularly us who are the progeny of Yisra’el, the Seed of Yaakov.
6. Today God is continuing with His act of showing that He loves us, but I wonder if how much we love Him.
7. Revelation 12:7-10: “And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels and prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
8. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
9. And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ:
10. for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God, day and night.”
11. Such a great story scares me whenever I think about it; if there can be a war in heaven, with someone being defeated until he is cast out and brought down upon the earth, it means there is a great controversy here!
12. Though I cannot visually access the spiritual domain, but I am almost certain that since we are here on earth, there is a raging war between good and evil in the celestial domain.
13. There is a conflict between Yahuah’s angels and those that fight on the side the dragon, those that were cast out of heaven with Lucifer as we have read in the above passage.
14. Here on earth, we tend to take things for granted and assume that we know and understand everything. This includes our histories per se.
15. In this country we tend to relate histories that date far back to too recent times, which are not factual. Even historiography around our liberation struggles has been presented as if these events occurred just a few hundreds of years ago.
16. That is why the topic of this sermon is: “The struggle for our liberation is not yet over.”
17. In this world we have a tendency of fighting for liberation that pertain to material benefits which are both tangible and temporary.
18. Whenever we see any Caucasian or an individual of any other racial group oppressing us politically, we conduct our struggle in accordance with are capable of perceiving with our naked eye.
19. We would assume that the struggle is over just when we have won contests around visible and tangible things which cannot last forever!
20. This kind of liberation in the context of our material conditions endures only up to the grave, and that is a pathetic reality.
21. The people cannot attain genuine liberation without worshipping God, the Creator of heaven and earth.
22. Liberation of the Seed of Yaakov cannot be comprehensive if they have never reconciled with Yahuah, the God of their forebears! The sign of these people is that whenever they no longer journey with Yahuah, no longer pleasing Him by observing His laws and precepts, their freedom cannot marked by a complete blessing.
23. That is why, 30 years down the line, we still have not witnessed prosperity of black people in this country.
24. This is caused by the fact that the black man, the Yisra’elite, has drifted away from God whose name is Yahuah; he is not journeying with Him at all.
25. When I once asked where on earth our freedom fighters dropped Yahuah when they went into exile with rifles, my question sounded weird!
26. Yes, the guerrillas made significant achievements to such an extent that mothers of Afrikaner lads complained bitterly, saying they no longer wanted their children to be conscripted after completing Matric because they were killed and they returned home lifeless!
27. But if our struggle will end up just in the material mode of existence, without transcending the material, we may probably hold on to counterfeit liberation, just as in the case of simply chasing the mirage.
28. The war we have just read about was fought but it did not just end up in heaven. That was a treasonous war against God’s kingdom, being waged by that old serpent, the dragon.
29. That was the same dragon, known as the deceiver who deceive the whole world. It is a bit intriguing that, even today, when one is in a WhatsApp group sounds insane if they dare mention that if we abandon Yahuah we will never succeed in our pursuit of the liberation we are trying to achieve!
30. The whole matter boils down to the fact that in fact Yisra’el entered into a covenant with Yahuah at Sinai and vowed that they would do whatever the latter commanded!
31. When this Sinai covenant was sealed, Moshe was standing before them and before the God of heaven and earth.
32. Then Moshe said that the covenant would affect them directly and their generations!
33. But as time progressed, Yisra’el abandoned Yahuah and violated God’s laws and precepts.
34. Our ancestors considered other gods much better than this Yahuah who took them out of the housed of bondage in the land of Kemet.
35. Unfortunately, most of us tend to evade this historical fact, claiming that those were Yisra’el but we are the Zulus, Xhosas, Tswanas, Pedis, Sothos, referring to almost all the tribal groups that inhabit this country.
36. But the fact is that they are our progenitors, therefore, the blessings that were meant to befall them if they observed the terms and conditions of the covenant they would, likewise, befall us as their generations!
37. Unfortunately, only the curses came upon us due to their apostasy! We often read about all this in Deuteronomy 28; it is now like a poem of NCG!!
38. Unfortunately, by the time when Shembe set foot in this country in 1910, white missionaries had already overtaken him by bringing their gospel without bring commissioned by Yahuah, a gospel that was not even based on His law and precepts!
39. On their arrival, those ministers confused people’s minds with the Babylonian deception. When Shembe arrived the black man’s mind was already tainted by this Babylonian influence!
40. Whenever we worship Yahuah our God we should beware of that Babylonian influence by ensuring that it does not sneak in to mar our worship of our God whose name is Yahuah.
41.Due to that influence, the people are being taught that being pious means that one should be pathetically meek! Christian men who worship ‘Jesus’, whom I also used to worship just like them, tend to speak highly of this situation of being meek, in the name of piety, whereas this teaching is in accordance with the gospel of missionaries!!
42. But Shembe, the prophet of Judah, never brought such a gospel. He, too, is in the genealogy of the Judean prophets; he has nothing to do with the agenda of missionaries!
43. Shembe differs from other prophets of Judah in that he is the beginning of Yahuah’s path as he proclaims that before the earth was hardened, he already was in existence. He says before the slopy terrains were hardened and water streams gushed forcefully, he already was in existence because he is the beginning of Yahuah’s path!
44. On his arrival he taught us everything that the prophets that preceded him never taught us.
45. By the time Shembe arrived, the letter the Belgian king wrote to the European missionaries, instructing them on their missionary methodology here, had long been written.
46. Likewise, we recall that the black slaves that were taken from this continent were taught from the Bible that had been made just for them, known as the ‘Slave Bible,’ when they arrived in the land of their captivity.
47. The slave was expected to humble themselves before the master because that white ‘Jesus’ had led them to slavery so that their soul would be rescued from destruction that would fall upon Africans who were supposedly raw savages!
48. There was a teaching that when a humble slave passed away from this earth, they would enter heaven! Anybody who does not want to struggle for liberation whilst here on earth is automatically in concurrence with such a myth of the oppressors of Yaakov’s progeny!
49. We are still dealing with this controversy which started in heaven even today, but we are not carrying physical weaponry; we are carrying spiritual armaments because we are walking with the Living Yahuah!
50. We are struggling for eternal liberation which does not last only up to this side of the grave, but we want our soul to finally be robed in that white garment even when we depart from this troublesome world!
51. We are struggling for immunity from the devil’s deception, which has affected the whole world, so that we may be rescued from the hunter’s snare and refrain from abandoning Yahuah whom we ought to worship. We are avoiding venerating strange gods, the gods of wood and stone!
52. The event of Exodus was integral part of the struggle because our ancestors were enslaved, having no rights, having backs that had been flagellated as if they were farm fields due to Pharaoh’s whips!
53. Egyptians were just as black as Yisra’el was, but we now tend to refer to any black person as our brother or sister!
54. Even the Amalekites that attacked us after exiting Kemet were black. Even after entering the land, we were surrounded by black nations. The whites with which we first came into contact were the Greeks of Alexander the Great!
55. All the nations that hate us are mentioned in Psalm 83 and they are all black. I am not sure if Edom was white, but what I know is that he was Yaakov’s brother!
56. Power struggle between these two nations started right in Rebecca’s womb, but today whites have imposed upon us the spirit of cowardice; that is why we are not able to pay attention to this fact!
57. But even if God were to hand our enemies to us, we would continue being sissy-boys and refrain from attacking them. This is contrary to our ancestors’ attitude!
58. All this confusion is caused by lack of knowledge about our history!
59. Prophets, judges and ancient kings worshipped one God. People would go astray and Yahuah would then hand them over to their enemies and then send them liberators who would fight on their behalf against their enemies just as Shembe liberated us here by teaching us about one God!
60. Shembe is our Liberator as Yaakov’s progeny in Africa, especially here in the south as well as other children of Yisra’el in the Diaspora!
61. I would be surprised if I were to discover that there are people among us who still think in accordance with what missionaries designed for us despite the fact that this deception is addressed every Shabbat in NCG!
62. Though the enemy is armed with various types of weapons in this world, such as missiles and nuclear weapons, our God’s angels are armed with superior weapons.
63. Even if we may be attacked for clinging to Yahuah, our Yahuah will defeat and destroy our enemies!
64. We have seen this from time immemorial. Yahuah conquered the Egyptians, Amalekites, Ammonites, Moabites, Philistines and the Midianites and the rest of the nations.
65. In Jericho, God conquered giants that lived in the city that was fenced with high walls, but Yahuah did not fail to prevail on our behalf even in that situation!
66. What makes us fall into the hands of the enemies is that we tend to drift away from Yahuah; our alignment with Yahuah is not right whenever we violate His laws, not reviving the covenant of Sinai!
67. Yahuah said the blessings that are mentioned in Deuteronomy 28 would overtake us if we cling to Him by observing His laws.
68. Even in ancient times, Eliyahu entered the same struggle we are in even today. He vanquished Baal’s prophets on the edge of the sword since they were prophesying for Jezebel, that evil woman who was married to that wicked king, Ahab.
69. We will notice that Eliyahu struggled for Yahuah’s elevation and reverence here on earth instead of allowing Baal, who is just a useless idol, to reign supreme!
70. That ancient Baal is still being worshipped even today, but he is now being worshipped under this Roman religion, known as Christianity, as per the instructions contained in the Creeds of the gentiles!
71. 1 Kings 18:40: “And Elijah said to them, “Seize the prophets of Baal, let not one of them escape.” And they seized them. And Elijah brought them down to the brook Kishon and slaughtered them there.” – English Standard Version
72. Elijah’s act of killing was necessary because he had to rescue Yahuah’s dignity and greatness so that He would not be ridiculed by the gentiles and their insignificant gods!
73. Those prophets had become unsuccessful in calling Baal to come down in fire and consume their sacrifice which they had placed on the altar. They even cut themselves and bled as they thought their god would probably come down and display his greatness above Yahuah!
74. This Baal of the gentiles is an idol just like those crafted by human hand, those who did not craete heaven and earth, gods who are capable of sleeping and dreaming or get delayed on their way while their prophets are calling for them.
75. Even today, in the 21st century, there are people who are still convinced that there are living gods except Yahuah; they say they depend upon them in their lives!
76. May God grant us, who are in NCG, wisdom so that we may not preach conventionally; we should not adopt traditional approaches in our preaching.
77. May we just employ certain preaching strategies that can help us open people’s minds which have been locked by missionaries which overtook Shembe!
78. Whenever Shembe spoke about spiritual affairs, this white man called Jesus, whom gentiles had imposed upon the people, always lingered in their minds! People just viewed Shembe as a mere mortal man who was here to waste their time.
79. Even today, people get puzzled when they see educated folks following Shembe. They say Shembe is trivial because he is not like Jesus who has been introduced by whites, but they are not aware that we do not know Jesus, but we know Yeshua!
80. This unnecessary confusion is caused by the mental programming among local children of Yisra’el!
81. We should first address this programming before we dish up this heavenly food. It may be futile to try to dish up this heavenly food into the minds that are filled with influential silliness of the gentiles.
82. Preaching on the basis of emotions, even dancing so well, may be meaningless because the main problem is that many people still do not stand a chance to grasp what we are preaching because their minds are still locked up due to the deception of the gentiles.
83. This whole situation clearly shows that our struggle is still not over; we are still to liberate our people’s minds which were thrust in a virtual pit by our enemies who are also the enemies of Yahuah our God.
84. A serious struggle lies ahead of us if we truly want to perform the noble task assigned to us by Shembe: to tell all the nations about this Nazarite faith.
85. That is why it is clear to us that the situation that is at hand is a sign that the liberation that we think we attained is just non-existent because spiritually, we are still caught up in the enemy’s snare which is deception designed to detach us from Yahuah or King!
86. Though we need to know this truth, it may be difficult fully comprehend it if we do not engage with the seventh chapter of the book of Daniel where he says the kingdom will be snatched from the wicked and given to the righteous of the Most High Elohim!!
87. This chapter clarifies in no uncertain terms that true politics is celestial other than just terrestrial. But these politicians who hate Yahuah, at a global level, are serving Satan so that the authority and glory of Yahuah, the Ruler of the Universe, may be undermined.
88. All those who struggle against oppression but still please the evil one are in the struggle that is aligned with holy living that is marked by the observation of the laws and precepts of Yahuah.
89. Such people are hard-core sell-outs because their inappropriate struggling exposes the nation to the risk of being overwhelmed by the enemy while Yahuah is far away from us!
90. But Yahuah’s warriors are in the struggle that jeopardises the enemy’s chances of conquering us; this is the case especially concerning us who are within NCG, who worship Yahuah by observing His laws and through song and dance.
91. I often get delighted whenever we dance to this Hymn which pertains to Pharaoh’s defeat because we even virtually push him right into the sea. We recall when Yahuah prevailed on our behalf when we were in the struggle against Pharaoh’s oppression!
92. In that holy struggle for our ancestors’ liberation in Pharaohs’ Kemet, when we were pursued by the Egyptians behind us and confronted by the Red Sea before us, Yahuah intervened by opening a dry path in the sea and destroying the whole army and the chariots of the enemy.
93. We push him with the very same shields that we had when Shembe arrived here! Heaven is not reserved for whites who know neither our shield nor its accessories, but as far as I know, there are warriors who gallantly fought and prevailed in this holy struggle we are in!
94. The depth of this struggle even transcends beyond what has been mentioned above, even involving scenarios where we struggle against the power of sin which seeks to detach us from Yahuah, but if we are warriors, we will not just surrender without putting up a vicious combat with the power of Yahuah our Lord.
95. Whenever we pray, fasting, urging Yahuah to overcome temptations which seek to snatch us from His hand, that is still our pursuit of the struggle against the enemy which initiated the conflict in heaven!
96. In a worldly struggle that is not led by the Spirit of Yahuah, those engaged in the struggle get involved in all wicked acts that annoy Yahuah, such as homosexuality and adultery in the name of ‘comradeship!’ The one who initiated the conflict in heaven is bound to prevail as long as we are in such a situation!
97. Such a struggle will not liberate the nation because it does not involve a plan to humiliate the evil one! That is why we are in such a challenge that we are in today; our freedom is not accompanied by holiness because we did not get involved in what I will call ’holistic’ struggle, a holy struggle in which all the saints who preceded us in this WAY were involved!
98. Even when Yisra’el fought against the Amalekites, Moshe had to lift up his hands so that the enemy could be defeated. Whenever he got tired and dropped his hands, Yahuah’s army would be defeated; Aaron and Hur had to let Moshe sit on a stone and then lift his hands so that heavenly messengers could prevail on behalf of Yisra’el! (Exodus 17:8-16)
99. Since the angel of healing has arrived among us today, that is because he knows the struggle we are pursuing; he is a divine warrior.
100. In the fifth chapter of the book of Joshua, while the nation was preparing to cross the River Jordan in order to reach the giants of Jericho, the leader of the nation saw a man with a drawn sword standing there.
101. That man was a heavenly official, and he did not ask Joshua why they were preparing to attack Jericho despite that they were pious.
102. When Joshua asked the man on whose side he was, he simply said that he was the heavenly official. There is an official among us even now! I wish we could receive this divine official in our midst with hearts that are filled with faith.
103. There is a divine messenger that leads us on a daily basis here in NCG. Here we are led by a warrior who fought heavenly wars, who was then sent down here when this holy assembly was formed, so that she could help and support the High Priest in the struggle that he is pursuing.
104. The High Priest’s struggle pertains to opening the minds of the people of this world by teaching them how God, whose name is Yahuah, is to be worshipped. This is a struggle because it vanquishes the evil one’s army.
105. This soldier was conscripted to get involved in the combat of the Nazarites of God because the army of Satan must be conquered, willy nilly!
106. Other Nazarites have gone astray and have abandoned Shembe’s WAY. They now worship with mediums in temples, they consult mediums, they get initiated into the cult of divinity! When the candidates or novice mediums graduate from the school, they are met by the lost Nazarites, and they do this using trumpets and drums that are meant solely for the glorification of Yahuah alone!
107. These Nazarites do not understand the struggle we are in; they are sell-outs! However, we are called apostates because we have returned to the WAY of the Prophet!
108. This situation suggests that this struggle is marked by a fatal danger because the cowards of Yisra’el, just like these Nazarites, who said we were apostates, never reached the Promised Land; they fell in the wilderness until only Joshua and Caleb survived!
109. All those millions which came out of Kemet were found pursuing the struggle in the wilderness not in a diligent manner, and Yahuah deprived them the opportunity of inheriting that land! Even Moshe, Aaron and Mirriam never trod upon that land across the River Jordan!
110. In the struggle episode across the River Jordan Yahuah did not instruct the people to carry weapons; He simply ordered them to walk around the city for seven days under the leadership of priests who blew trumpets, carrying the Arch of the Covenant.
111. Those walls of Jericho tumbled without any human effort! The giants were conquered by Yahuah Himself, not the swords of Yisra’el.
112. Even here in NCG we are being led by the High Priest, and we trust in the trumpet that he blows and the Arch that he is carrying because he walks before us in the name of the King of heaven! I personally witnessed the tumbling down of the walls of Jericho right here!
113. I remember hearing this trumpet being blown when I had just joined this holy assembly, when the world was attacked by COVID-19. The pandemic killed several people around us, but all of us remained standing because we followed the commandments of Yahuah concerning how we could survive.
114. Apart from COVID-19, we are not used to dying here in NCG; I have attended only a few funeral services of Nazarites since I arrived here because we who conduct our lives in accordance with Yahuah’s precepts are kept alive!
115. Old men and women of this holy assembly seem to have been reinvigorated by Yahuah; nobody is dying because we are in the struggle here, a struggle that does not need any old man’s or woman’s death!
116. Old people of this assembly are protected by the mighty hand of Yahuah because they insist on walking in accordance with Yahuah’s laws and precepts, not as in that situation of the worldly politics in which He is conflated with all the filth that is perpetuated in the name of comradeship!
117. Dodgy practices that mark that worldly struggle are unthinkable! While politicians want complete freedom, they also engage in detestable practices in the sight of Yahuah, such as adultery, homosexuality in line with the agenda of population control, a diabolic agenda! That is politics of sell-outs!
118. We need politicians that are empowered by Yahuah’s Spirit, leaders who will lead us back to Yahuah’s law and caution us against practices of conducting abortion and homosexuality because God said we must multiply and fill the earth!
119. There still are huge tracts of land that is uninhabited, but there is this sinister gospel of population reduction which is a satanic agenda. We still have not filled this earth; we still have not dominated and conquered it as long as we are still busy pushing Lucifer’s agenda!
120. Let us remember Nehemiah’s leadership today who admitted that the Book of the Law condemned them, when it was read to the people, because they had not complied with all the commandments that were written therein!
121. The core message of this sermon is that we should stop being deceived by the gentiles who do not want us to oppose their conspiracy of oppressing us in all fronts; our version of politics is the one that is known in heaven because Yahuah divine mind does not a have a plan of our oppression except when we have abandoned Him.
122. We cannot be in the struggle while we still bow to the gods of the enemy. What did Shembe say to us?
123. Did he not cry to Yahuah over the Battle of Ncome, every December 16, asking Him not to ever allow the enemies to vanquish the Zulus, who are still Judah, on the edge of the sword, anymore due to their sinfulness?
May the Lord bless what you have heard.
