From it’s inception the church is a heavenly mandated vessel to proclaim the word of God and absorb all willing nations into worshiping one God.
Prophet Isaiah Shembe Founder of the Nazarite Church
Prophet Isaiah Shembe was born around 1865 at Ntabamhlophe, near Escourt, KwaZulu-Natal. He grew up in Ntabazwe(Harrismith) after his familyrelocated to the Free State.
After having many interactions and intercessions with God, and having been put through many challenges, he was eventually sent to KwaZulu-Natal in 1910 to proclaim the Word of God.
Upon his arrival in the province, the Prophet suffered under the colonial rule. However, that did not stop him from fulfilling his heavenly mission of preaching the Word of God and bringing people into worship directed to God Jehovah who sent him.
God enabled the Prophet to perform miracles and give him the healing abilities he was famous for.He was able to drive demons out of people. And he converted many people to become Nazarites, living according to the laws of God Jehovah.
Jehovah’s Prophet
It is by God’s grace that generations before us saw the Prophet, and some of them were converted. However, some of them were reluctant to be reunited with the Almighty, creator of Heaven and Earth. Prophet Isaiah Shembe revived a religion which resembles a way of life in heaven,where most people are believed to want to spend their eternal lives.
Achievement
Some might be asking themselves the Prophet achieved in his various travels of proclaiming the Word of God.
The Prophet revived a way of life which is total obedience and dedication to Jehovah. Before the arrival of the Prophet, people in KwaZulu Natal used to have a traditional way of life.They were also engaging in certain customs which are regarded as an abomination to God.
Prophet Isaiah Shembe was able to establish and raise a people that solely focused on observing and worshiping God in a way that is acceptable to Him.Such people are different and have a uniqueness about them, because the world has conditioned people to engage in desires that are an abomination or a sin to God.
Many People regard Prophet Isaiah Shembe as a god. We say to you that is a false notion. Prophet Isaiah Shembe wrote a hymnal to be used by the Nazarites. When you read this book you eventually realise that the Prophet acknowledged that he was sent by, and we are to worship Jehovah alone.
