The moral of this narrative is that demons are not the only spirits that can destroy you; even a family member who died as a witch or wizard can turn into an evil spirit that will kill you or bring any evil thing upon you!
That is why, within the Nazarite faith, hosting a ceremony of readmitting the dead is not permissible because, firstly, that act contradicts the Law of God; secondly, it is detrimental to your life as well!
1.Shabbat Shalom to the saints. The topic for this sermon is: THE IMPACT OF IGNORANCE ABOUT THE STATUS OF THE SPIRITUAL ENTITIES.
2.According to John 5:28-29: “Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, and shall come forth; THEY THAT HAVE DONE GOOD, UNTO THE RESURRECTION OF LIFE; AND THEY HAVE DONE EVIL, UNTO THE RESURRECTION OF DAMNATION.”
3.There are numerous doctrinal positions on spiritual entities, especially the dead people’s spirits. But most of these teachings contradict those that have been provided by Yahuah’s instructions.
4.In the above passage, Yeshua explains that when we are dead, materially, our spirit is resurrected and brought forth to the judgement, so that others will gain eternal life, while others get eternal damnation.
5.According to this teaching of Yeshua, it is clear that the essence of a human being is not the visible flesh, but a human is the spirit!
6.During contemporary times, the prophet who has clarified the journey and status of a departed soul to us is Prophet Shembe.
7.Here, by spiritual entities we mean God’s Spirit, Spirit of angels, Satan’s spirit, demonic spirits and spirits of the dead.
8.All spirits are capable of assuming any form in which they want to manifest themselves to you – shape-shifting.
9.It is certain that though our bodies die, but our spirits remain immortal, and the form of one’s spirit takes on that of their body.
10.If you die with one leg, even after death you will still retain the same appearance. If you die with an evil heart, even after death your heart will still be wicked.
11.Spirits probably assume three different forms. Any spirit can be demonic, ancestral spirit or Holy Spirit.
12.A demon is a spirit that brings only negativity whenever it comes to you, such as sickness, suffering or it may lead you astray in various ways.
13. By ancestral spirit we mean a family member’s spirit; this spirit can be demonic or a blessing, depending on what form it takes when it comes to you.
14. By Holy Spirit we mean a divine spirit, irrespective of whether it is in the form of an angel or an ancestral spirit.
15. At times a teaching emerges which points out that the notion of the existence of ancestral spirits is a myth. That teaching which advocates for the denial of ancestral spirits was imposed upon us by the gentiles so that they could completely do away with our pre-colonial faith system!
16.But even if that is the case, what we should know is that demonic spirits can manifest themselves as ancestral spirits and angels so that you may accept whatever they say.
17.Your ancestor can become a demonic spirit if they died with an evil heart and they can do wicked things for you if they already hated you at the point of death.
18.While we were submitting people’s offerings at the altar, the angel came and said we should put a R20 note offering aside.
19.Through that R20 note a voice of the one who had made the offering was heard, complaining and asking for a number of things from his forebears, including a vehicle.
20.Through that same offering we then heard a voice of an old man who was scolding that youngster, saying: “If you want a vehicle, why don’t you go into a forest and chop some wood for a sledge which you can use for transportation as we used to do?”
21.Then the angel said: “I wanted you to hear on your own what occasionally happens when you submit requests to your forefathers.
22.Though this old man is this youngster’s forebear, when he died, he was naturally evil hearted, but as a senior member within the family’s hierarchy, every report lands on his lap and he then he rejects whatever he wants to reject.
23.All the suffering that this youngster endures is caused by this old man who is his forebear, but he resented his house when he died!”
24.Then said the angel: “If this lad had directed his offering to Shembe, he would never have been received with such cruelty because Shembe was sent from heaven to do away with our miseries!”
25.On another occasion the angel spoke about a witch who had destroyed the whole family except a widow and her son. But even the witch ended up dying as well!
26.When the witch had died, the widow’s suffering subsided and she then built a magnificent abode with her son.
27.Then the seers came by, suggesting that she should admit the spirts of the dead since she had built such a residence!
28.The widow then held the ceremony that was aimed at admitting the spirits of the dead in the residence, but she died by the following morning!
29.The angel said: That widow was murdered by the same witch that she had fetched from the graveyard, against whom God had protected her while she was still alive!
30.She murdered her when she was in a spiritual form; that woman fetched her dead enemy! I don’t know what this witch will do to the surviving youngster.
31.If she does not murder him, he will endure suffering throughout his life because this witch has been admitted in this residence!”
32.The moral of this narrative is that demons are not the only spirits that can destroy you; even a family member who died as a witch or wizard can turn into an evil spirit that will kill you or bring any evil thing upon you!
33.That is why, within the Nazarite faith, hosting a ceremony of readmitting the dead is not permissible because, firstly, that act contradicts the Law of God; secondly, it is detrimental to your life as well!
34.Shembe said we, the Nazarites, will remember our forebears by giving offerings on their behalf because if we do so, we are thus in full compliance with the Law of God. Secondly, we render ourselves safe from demonic spirits and witches or wizards!
35.Firstly, offerings are directed towards God before they reach those on whose behalf they have been offered!
36.Remembering your late next of kin helps ward off any evil that may emerge because your offering is firstly blessed by God!
37.Many ceremonial feasts are presided upon by spirits that deceptively pose as forefathers, specifically as your suffering dead father who will ask you to host a certain feast on his behalf. As soon as you comply with such a directive, then everything goes wrong!
38.At times death is not caused by evil spirits, but it can be caused by family witches or wizards who put a spiritual trap so that when you make an animal blood sacrifice, then an endless death trend which will destroy you in many ways will occur!
39.The angel said that witches or wizards are capable of capturing your dead father’s spirit, turn him to their zombie and use his spirit to annihilate your family!
40.He would have no choice because has been turned into this witch’s or wizard’s zombie, being sent from pillar to post just as a slave!
41.The angel said: “The spirit that a witch or wizard cannot capture is that of a person who died under God’s authority because a witch, a wizard or an evil spirit has no authority upon a person who takes refuge under Yahuah whilst sojourning on earth!
42.Therefore, the only way a pious person can prevent such an unsavoury situation is not to just give offerings on behalf of their family, but they should also be baptized on their behalf!
43. At so doing, heavenly angels will be despatched to gather your family and admit it into heaven! (2 Chorinthians 15:29).
44.The majority of the dead are stuck in great misery, and nobody can liberate them from that misery except us who are in the light!
45.In 1927, while Shembe was preaching, he uttered these words: “Only if the people knew, they would gather with us at Ekuphakameni so that we may weep for the dead for they are trapped in misery.
46.We would appeal for their cleansing and forgiven their sins so that they may enter the holy city!”
47.If one dies through suicide, even after their death the rope will remain fastened around their neck, the same pain that they felt when they committed suicide will endure on a continuous basis!
48.We were residing in a Durban apartment in 2007. All of a sudden, we could smell a terrible stench of human faeces.
49.While we were still puzzled about the origin of the faeces, we heard the flushing of the toilet.
50.While we were terrified about this situation, the angel arrived and said: “Yes, there is a spirit that dwells here with you, but it is not an evil spirit. This spirit is of your grandfather who died by committing suicide while he was still young.
51.In your family they think that he permanently moved to Johannesburg, but that is not true; he was annoyed by something, entered a forest and committed suicide, but nobody ever discovered his corpse!
52.I also did not know anything about that grandfather who was thought to have disappeared to Johannesburg.
53.The angel said: “The stench of faeces that you can smell comes from the same faeces with which he soiled himself while he was struggling as strangled himself with the rope!
54.That rope is still tight around his neck; he cannot untie it!
55.But he has heard that there is a child who can talk to God and liberate him from his current situation!
56.Therefore, go to your senior brother, the priest, because he is the first-born son in your family; if he forgives him, he will have done so on behalf of the family and he will indeed be forgiven.”
57.You should give an offering on his behalf and ask for God’s forgiveness on his behalf so that he may come out of that miserable situation and enter heaven.”
58.I went to my elder brother and he did what we had been taught by the angel; I also gave an offering, asking for forgiveness on his behalf. His haunting spirit then disappeared!
59. As per the Prophet’s teaching, we have an immense task of working towards liberating our dead ancestors from misery in which they are stuck. By so doing, we would also liberate ourselves!
60.One day, Evangelist Mdluli said somebody came to him and told him that he had done whatever he had to do but nothing ever went well for him.
61.The evangelist said: “I then advised him to wait for seven days and see if the root cause of the misery would not emerge.”
62.He said after seven days that person came to him and said: “While I was asleep, I found myself surrounded by six warriors who were bleeding and armed; they seemed to want to stab me.
63.While I was wondering what I had done, one of them came up to me and said: “We have not come here with an intention of fighting against you, but we are your forebears who died while fighting, and we are still fighting up to this very moment, no matter how much we are no longer willing to engage in such activities.
64.Now, you have become pious and forgot about us; you are living comfortably, and you do not give a damn about us who have always been in war!
65.All your misery is caused by us; we want you to liberate us from the war that we have been always waging!”
66. As per Mdluli’s advice, that person gave an offering on behalf and for the benefit of his forebears, and his misery subsided!
67. At first we said that any condition in which a person dies does not subside until it is removed by those who are still in the world of the living.
68.The Prophet said: “On our arrival on this earth, our purpose was to resurrect your ancestors who slept on the dust of this earth.
69.We heard them singing, saying: “Move aside so that we may enter and worship Yahuah for we have been blocked from entering; today the gates have been opened.”
70.Those old men were happy on the arrival of their prophet who would take them out of misery, in which they had been languishing, and admit them in heaven.
71.Indeed, when the prophet arrived, he prohibited us from singing war songs and slogans, made us smaller shields with which we dance for Yahuah; he composed psalms with which to glorify Yahuah, and poetic proverbs that we recited were turned into praise songs with which we started praising Yahuah!
72.What was done by Shembe to us, while he was on earth, was a peace-making strategy for the benefit of those who dwell in graves, disarming them through engaging the living!
73.I am not privy to traditional ways in which peace among people who died fighting can be brokered.
74.I used to serve as a magistrate in a district that was always marked with tribal territorial skirmishes, resulting in women and children sleeping out in forests as even schools were closed.
75.A huge, remarkable ceremony was held during which beasts were slaughtered with a view to disarming the warriors who had died in wars so that those skirmishes could subside.
76.Warriors who attended such a ceremony were armed and were singing war songs. But such tribal territorial wars prevailed and never subsided to this very day!
77.I then wondered how one could tell the spirits of the dead that wars had been done away with while warriors attended such peace initiative ceremonies in the same war-like mode in which they departed.
78.But if such a prayer meeting could be conducted by male Nazarite church members, in their full Zulu traditional regalia, in the same appearance of these ancestral spirits, holding smaller shields and dancing for Yahuah, saying:
79.“Give way for his entrance,
O, here comes Zulu,
Offspring of Dingana
And Senzangakhona.
Give way so that we may enter
And worship Yahuah,
We were locked out,
Today the gates are open.
Who has opened it,
Who is opening that gate,
O, Deliverer
Of those prisoners,
80.Those in the spiritual realm follow suit in terms of what it means to lay down arms and, instead, then use shields in dancing for Yahuah!
81.As in accordance with the Book of Nehemiah 9, it would be advisable for His Majesty the King to preside over such a prayer session in which he would intercede on behalf of his ancestors and the entire nation with solemn supplication to Yehuah so that He may forgive this nation all its constant self-destructive deeds!
82.By conducting such a prayer meeting, senseless wars and destruction among the Zulu nation would cease with immediate effect!
May the Lord bless what you have heard.
