A prayer of the pious under the leadership of His Majesty the King carries a message to those in the spiritual realm, saying that wars and bloodshed now belong to the dustbin of history; the people are now returning to the act of worshipping a King of Peace whose name is Yahuah!
.Shabbat Shalom to the saints. The topic for this sermon is: “The one who solves our problems is Yahuah.”
.“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom…” This is what King Solomon said.
.These words are valid, for whoever does not fear Yahuah is a fool, irrespective of how much they think they are clever because we all need God’s grace at the end of the day.
.Yahuah descended upon the Hebrew nation and taught it His faith system which was bequeathed to all of us as inheritance of our souls.
.While they still complied with His divine precepts, Yahuah did everything for them, including protecting them from enemies in various ways and also providing them with heavenly food supplies when they were hungry!
.But whenever they abandoned Him, He would allow their enemies to subjugate and even enslave them.
.But He would remember them whenever they repented and would overlook their past transgressions because they were His children!
.In line with authentic faith system, Moshe and others would communicate with God and report any problem they encountered at any given moment, and Yahuah would just intervene and rescue them from it!
.Today we are being told that miracles last occurred during Yeshua’s and apostles’ days. Yes, that is true, but we are not enquiring why that is the case.
.It is true that after Yeshua, the gentiles destroyed the faith system that was conducted in accordance with Yahuah’s tenets, thus rendering the current, constru
cted religion dominant!
.In ancient Yisra’el, whenever Yahuah abandoned the people due to their iniquities, they would convene as Yahuah’s nation and confess their sins so that Yahuah would remember them!
.Nehemiah 9:1-2 says: “Now in the twenty and fourth day of this month the children of Israel were assembled with fasting, and with sackclothes, and earth upon them.
13. And the seed of Israel separated themselves from all strangers, and stood and confessed their sins, and the iniquities of their fathers.” – King James Version
.When the nation of Yisra’el was fasting and praying to Yahuah, it was in the Babylonian captivity after God had handed it over to its enemies due its sins.
.But because this nation was knowledgeable about godly affairs, it gathered and confessed its sins and those of its forebears.
.Today, we do not know how one can effectively communicate with God since the gentiles have persuaded us to abandon Yahuah’s faith system, after which we also abandoned His statutes.
.The prophet who helped restore Yahuah’s faith system here in South Africa was Prophet Isaiah Shembe (peace be upon him)!
.It was Shembe who taught the Nazarites that we do not have any other faith system except the one that was brought by Yahuah through His servant Moshe!
.In 1931, Prophet Isaiah Shembe said, “The prophet resides in the firmament, waiting to identify an ERRING nation to which Yahuah would send him.”
.Shembe says, “I am that prophet; Yahuah has sent me to various earthly nations on five occasions.”
.What we need to understand is that the Prophet was sent to the Zulu nation because it had SINNED against Yahuah; Shembe did not hide this fact. This is what he wrote in the Shabbat Liturgical Prayer:
.“Do not be like your patriarchs, Dingane and Senzangakhona, our fathers who hardened their hearts until Yahuah punished them in this manner, and we now carry their sins to this very day.”
.In the same Shabbat Liturgical Prayer, Shembe goes on and says: “May Yahuah remember the House of Dingane and Senzangakhona which has been made desolate and restore it from its desolation. May the One who made heaven and earth from eternity do so!
.God, our Lord, accept our prayer, not according to our saying but according to Your saying; so shall it be!” As the Nazarites, let us intercede to Yahuah on behalf of our nation!
.Shembe would always intercede to Yahuah on behalf of this nation.
.Shembe was not the first prophet ever to be sent down by God to a SINNING nation; God sent Jonah to preach to a nation, together with its king, that had sinned to Yahuah. Jonah 3:5-9 says:
.“So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them.
28. For word came unto the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered him with sackcloth, and sat in ashes.
29. And he caused it to be proclaimed and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste any thing: let them not feed, nor drink water:
30. But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, AND FROM THE VIOLENCE THAT IS IN THEIR HANDS.
31. Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not?” – KJV
.The submission of a solemn supplication to Yahuah by the people of Nineveh saved them from destruction!
.When Shembe arrived in this land, he demonstrated that one could be pious without necessarily abandoning their customary practices that do not contradict God’s Law.
.Among the Nazarites, he promoted Zulu traditional dress and adopted Zulu dance patterns, but prohibited them from following customary practices that contradicted God’s Law!
.He prohibited the Nazarites from singing hymns or songs that evoked passion for combat!
.He disarmed them, blunting stabbing staffs and replacing them with Moshe’s staff with which the sick are healed!
.He reduced war shields and refashioned them for use during dance ceremonies in honour of Yahuah!
.Instead of admiring anyone for having killed others, he said we should always glorify Yahuah for people that He has healed to our benefit!
.He prohibited the Nazarites from shouting war slogans but gave them slogans that were fit for the pious. Instead of shouting the slogan, “Whence does it sound; war sticks, we smell its aroma, whence does it sound!” he said we should, instead, shout:
.“Though He’s a Spirit, though He’s a Spirit, Yahuah our God has annihilated all our enemies beyond any trace!”
.He composed numerous psalms for singing and dancing in honour of Yahuah just as this one: “Step aside so we may enter and worship Yahuah; we were locked out, today the gates have been thrown ajar. Who opened it, who opened that gate, O Deliverer of those convicts?”
.All the prophet’s psalms are marked by the Zulu dance patterns, but they carry the pious message which Shembe intended to use as a tool of detaching the Zulu people from violence and war-like lifestyle so that they could glorify Yahuah!
.No other nation is as obsessed with killing each other as the Zulu people! For a long time whilst working as a public servant we often had to solve territorial skirmishes.
.The way these senseless wars troubled women who had to sleep out in the open with children was unbelievably brutal!
.Today I wish to reveal that no prayer can ever break the pattern of killing among the Zulu people.
46. No law, police officer, chief, or pastor can ever break the violence that is found within this nation which is destroying itself with spears and rifles!
.The fact of the matter is that these people are not alone, for they carry within them the strange urge to keep on killing. Others say these killings among the Zulus amount to a cultural element, but that is definitely not the case!
.Preaching one day, Lord Galilee Shembe once said, “I have received an invitation from the Royal House, an invitation to attend King Shaka Memorial Day ceremony.”
.He then said, “It becomes difficult to figure out how to explain this to the people because earthly humans do not understand the heavenly language.
.If the Zulu people knew God’s or divine affairs, they would concern themselves with trying to find out how Shaka is doing wherever God placed him!
.I do not know if it is wise to always glorify someone with ceremonies without knowing if he needs any glorification right now!
.You do not even know if his spirit still needs such a ceremony; does he still enjoy it or he needs an alternative way other than commemorating him.”
.Lord Galilee Shembe’s speech should be followed by those who are searching for the truth around how we can solve these problems which stem from our violent nature!
.Every current phenomenon has a historical origin; without discovering a reason or cause, one cannot overcome a problem with which they are confronted at a given time.
.We need to search for a cause of even the current tendency of slaughtering one another among the Zulu nation!
.In most instances, dead person’s spirit returns to this realm of existence, resides with the living and operates through them. If one dies whilst fighting, their spirit remains in war mode until the living liberate them.
.But if this spirit fights through the living, the latter develop the curse of an urge to kill continuously owing to ancient wars.
.Among all the African nations, the Zulus were probably the most warlike nation during King Shaka’s tenure!
.The Zulu nation became huge through its expansionist policy of attacking and subduing other enclaves, shedding too much innocent blood.
.That cry of the slaughtered innocents was heard by the merciful God who then sent Shembe to address this mess.
.Even today we are still carrying the sins of our ancient monarchs. The blood that they shed is still on the hands of those who still wander away from piety; it makes them feel the urge to kill innocent souls.
.Since the Commander-in-Chief of any nation is the monarch himself, he alone can declare peace!
.That is why Shembe was sent to the monarchs; any monarch’s piety means his nations liberation.
.That is why the prophet was heard singing: “You are being called upon, King Solomon, son of Dinuzulu; Yahuah’s glory is at eKuphakameni.”
.Though there are numerous Nazarite chiefs within the KwaZulu province, who also understand what I am articulating here, not all of them necessarily accept this message.
.Fortunate is any nation that has a monarch of King David’s calibre!
.This problem needs a solution that is based on Bible-based piety because we are a pious people!
.Addressing it from a Zulu cultural perspective cannot yield good results because we have not been condemned by our ancestors, BUT OUR ANCESTORS HAVE BEEN CONDEMNED BY YAHUAH ON THE BASIS OF THEIR INIQUITIES!
.These wars or skirmishes will come to an end when we, together with our monarchs, have reconciled with Yahuah after the pattern of what the people of Nineveh did!
.But this cannot happen as long as King Shaka Memorial ceremony is still conducted in the current fashion where soldiers still engage in military drills through song and slogans that insinuate, to the departed souls, that we are still engaged in war!
71. By engaging in such an act we are still telling the fallen soldiers in the spiritual realm that the wars that they left behind are still raging in the physical realm of existence!
.We are still evoking spirits that departed in war situations – spirits that painfully passed away in wars; we are saying they must continue!
.These spirits get resurrected and enter bodies of the living through whom they conduct ancient wars!
.It would be proper if this ceremony could be turned into a solemn memorial ceremony during which we would assemble for the purpose of crying to Yahuah by fasting and confessing our sins and those of our ancestors as a nation just as the nation of Yisra’el did.
.We should submit our supplication to Yahuah so that He may do away with wars within our nation.
76. By conducting this process in this manner, we will be sending a clear message, to all those who died in wars, that the war has been ended, that it no longer exists, but that Yahuah’s law which prohibits us from KILLING is now in force!
.A prayer of the pious under the leadership of His Majesty the King carries a message to those in the spiritual realm, saying that wars and bloodshed now belong to the dustbin of history; the people are now returning to the act of worshipping a King of Peace whose name is Yahuah!
.I know that this speech is a laughing stock to many people for now!
.But time will come when such a speech will compel everybody to meditate on and also follow it; by that time the whole nation will have perished!
.There is no other strategy of removing these spirits from the people except the one that was provided by the prophet who had been sent by Yahuah to this nation.
.We do not know if there are people who believe that simply getting puffed up with pride on account of our nationality is more important than being concerned about the destruction of the nation!
.In Hymn 120, the prophet says: “There is no other foundation for you Africa; only Yahuah is your foundation!”
.In such situations, we have no option but to ‘stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it!’ But others say: “We will not walk in it!”
May the Lord bless His Word.
