The angel said a dream itself does not matter; what matters is its result. At times it is dangerous to seek meanings of dreams because one may end up constructing a life that is controlled by dreams, not God’s Law.
1.Shabbat Shalom to the saints. The topic for today is: “The Disadvantage of Worshipping Fake Holy Spirits.”
2.Ephesians 6:12-13: “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” – King James Version
3.The life of most nations, especially those within Africa, is founded upon worshipping and being controlled by spirits.
4.But the question still stands: as we believe so much in these spirits, do we even know them at all?
5.Are we capable of distinguishing between the true Holy Spirit and an evil one, spirits of the departed souls and those that bring death while they cunningly manifest as true spirits?
6.Any spirit dwells within anyone only through their permission. All spirits that dwell within us and dominate us are allowed by us to do so.
7.But we often grant them permission unwittingly, not realising that these spirits have been accepted by us because neither know nor see them; we do not even hear what they say to us.
8.When Shembe arrived in this land he found many many people suffering from strange spirits from tribal entities known as known as amaNdiki and amaNdawu.
9.In order for these spirits to enter and occupy human bodies they would just knock on the door or announce their arrival at any residence.
10. As soon as anyone would answer “come in”, they would check who is there and find nobody by the door; at that the moment the spirit would have already entered that person’s body.
11.That is why we grew up being advised not to answer “come in” whenever we heard a person that we could not see knocking at the door because we could just respond to a spirit that would, all of a sudden, enter us.
12.Shembe alluded to such spirits in Hymn 23 when he said: “Lord, I have been dust, anyway; I was taken from the soil and was entered in the beautiful hope which is Your Spirit.
13.I was not granted the weed that I have today. Spiritual conditions of amaNdiki and amaNdawu tribal entities are tantamount to sicknesses of secular nations.
14.Lord, increase the blessings solely through Your name, and let all the filth be eliminated from the midst of Your house.
15 As per Your saying through Yeshua’s mouth, You said You would dwell within me if I love You.
16.Today I love You O Lord; eliminate all my ailments from both my body and spirit.”
17.What is significant to the spirits IS YOUR SIGN WHICH SIGNIFIES YOUR FAITH SYSTEM OR BELIEF.
18.Shembe advised the Nazarites to write on their house doors: “GLORIFY YAHUAH.” This is the sign that notifies these spirits that this residence belongs to pious ones; Yahuah is glorified within it.
19.Shembe says if such spirits arrives at this residence and see the sign, they do not enter because you would have thus notified them that only the God whose name is Yahuah is worshipped within this residence.
20.A strange spirit learns and gets to know all this through the sign that you display on your house.
21.The majority of those who sacrifice to the dead suffer immensely because they often conduct rituals with the hope that this may alleviate troubles that affect their lives, but such difficulties become exacerbated.
22. At some point we asked the divine person why things become even worse at times when people sacrifice to the dead.
23.This divine Maiden then said: “There are many potential causes of such a reality, but quite often whenever people perform traditional rituals they usually assume that they are doing them for the dead whereas that is not the case; they sacrifice to the other evil spirits.
24.These spirits are capable of manifesting as one’s late grandfather or parent and then teach them that every problem will be solved if they sacrifice to them in a particular manner!
25.After sacrificing with a view to solving problems, things become even worse than before because what you have sacrificed to is not your departed next of kin; it is just an evil spirit!
26.II Corinthians 11:14 says: “And no marvel, for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.”
27.The divine Maiden then said, “This spirit would have found what it has been looking for: that you sacrifice to it so that it may get some flesh.
28.But the evil spirit cannot grant you any luck because they, by their sheer nature, have no luck, but they only possess misfortune and destruction.”
29.This divine being continued, saying: “Since the who worships Yahuah can be identified by these spirits through the sign: ‘GLORIFY YAHUAH’, they identify the one who believes in sacrificing to the dead through a skin bangle and a hut that is dedicated to the dead.
30.Nobody can wear a skin bangle and build a hut for the dead without believing in sacrificing for the dead. Everything that one believes in will be represented by a sign.’
31. As soon as this spirit sees a person wearing a skin bangle, it selects them among a multitude of people and follows them up to their home because it wants to be offered sacrifices in the name of your family.
32.When it has identified your residence and learned everything about you, it will then take the form of your grandfather and appear to you your neighbour in a dream or vision and send them to you, telling you what to do so that you may overcome a problem that you are confronted with.
33.You will believe what your neighbour has to say because they describe a dead person that is known among you in the family.
34.The fact that you were being taken for a ride by spirits, you will get to know this by realising that nothing transpires after performing the whole ritual, but only great misfortunes will befall you. Indeed, these spirits will have already virtually consumed the flesh. ”
35.The other task of these spirits is to facilitate the initiation processes into the cult of bogus divinity. All family members will be said to being initiated into this cult of divinity.
36.In an instance of somebody being possessed by an ancestral spirit, faith healers are not competent enough to declare that they should go through an initiation process, but it is that ancestral spirit that takes them to a senior or master diviner who should help them get initiated.
37.But numerous contemporary diviners start initiation processes only on the basis of having been told by other diviners that they are possessed by divination spirits and that they should undergo certain healing processes and other related ritualistic activities.
38.99% of those who get initiated in the manner outlined here are often not possessed by true divination spirits, but they are simply being tormented and used by these strange spirits.
39.After successfully going through the initiation course into this bogus divination profession, some of them become seriously sick while others even die without being able to conduct any consultations.
40.Anyway, these spirits would have entered the residence, and they will always enjoy sacrifices, being referred to as ancestors.
41.These spirits are also capable of entering a church congregation and turn a member into a fake faith healer. These spirits enter church congregations in various ways.
42. At times one may receive dreams about Jesus telling them this and that until they get converted into a religious formation.
43.After being converted, this Jesus will then tell you that he is now giving a gift of faith-healing; after receiving such a bogus gift, you will then be found committing all ungodly acts in the name of Jesus. In fact you would be possessed by a bogus Jesus!
44.Lord Galilee Shembe emphatically warned us against spirits that manifest as Shembe, saying that when a spirits intends overcoming you, it will appear as Shembe in your dreams.
45.But this fake Shembe may teach you to engage in all ungodly acts.
46. At times one may ‘see’ Shembe or the Nazarites coming to them, telling them this and that, only to find that it is not Shembe; it is just an evil spirit which is driving one towards a certain unsuitable destination.
47.When one becomes a Nazarite, this spirit changes and starts teaching them contradictory things which they will practise on virtue of being instructed by Shembe whereas only a bogus Shembe can do that!
48.There are church denominations that sincerely believe in abstaining and waiting, particularly waiting for the Holy Spirit. Their members even go into the wilderness with a claim that they are waiting for this spirit.
49.Nothing is as risky as waiting for a spirit. Yeshua went into a wilderness in order to wait and fast for forty days, but instead of meeting with God he met with Satan.
50.If, when Yeshua waited and fasted, only Satan arrived and tempted him with all sorts of temptations, how can we not be tempted during our asceticism and fasting?
51.Even Shembe went up to Mount Nhlangakazi when he had been called by Yahuah, but numerous spirits arrived claiming to have called him up to Nhlangakazi.
52.Lord Galilee Shembe once said: “If Shembe dared accept such spirits, he would return with an immensely powerful and mighty spirit, but he would have a roaring spirit!
53.We do not recognise the evil one when he comes to tempt us; we often think we are possessed by the Holy Spirit when we have just accepted monsters’ spirits.
54. At times such spirits enter some pious people who are then found teaching people to eat grass and snakes.
55.You may have a vision of your grandfather telling you to join a Nazarite church. Indeed, you will abandon everything and be converted.
56.When you have joined the Nazarite church, that grandfather of yours will then tell you that he is endowing you with a gift of faith-healing. .
57.Many spirits enter people on the basis of them becoming faith healers!
58.But according to the Bible, nobody has ever been sent by God to become a faith healer; God sends a prophet to go and preach His Word and also perform healing miracles as well!
59.The very same faith healer will be found doing everything that contradicts Yahuah’s tenets, being controlled by this ‘grandfather’ who teaches nothing about piety, but who teaches that he should be worshipped.
60.In fact that is not your grandfather; that is an evil spirit which pretends to be your grandfather, wanting to use you whilst in that church so that he can remove the people from God!
61.The angel taught us about many cunning ways that are employed by spirits when they want to torment the people.
62. To those who believe in ancestral spirits, they manifest as ancestors, but they come up with practices that are not integral part of any culture, thus adding to existing cultural practices so that they may use the people to make sacrifices to them.
63. To the pious they appear as Jesus or Shembe, telling them that they have praying or healing gifts whereas they just want to use them in the name of Jesus or Shembe.
64. To many people these spirits pop up to tell them that were born covered with a special membrane all around them, but their aim is to convince them to sacrifice to them.
65.These spirits demand being venerated and being given sacrificial animals in various ways, including bringing all sorts of dreams or killing and then showing you a fake heaven and a fake hell.
66.After being shown all this, they then send you to a certain church where you will teach its members about a bogus heaven and a bogus hell; in fact the evil one will be using you to detach the people from observing God’s law.
67.The angel said a dream itself does not matter; what matters is its result. At times it is dangerous to seek meanings of dreams because one may end up constructing a life that is controlled by dreams, not God’s Law.
68.If you get a strange dream, take an offering and report it to God. Just say: “Lord, I had such a dream, but do not know what it means.
69.If it is an evil dream, with this offering I beseech You O Lord to overcome it on my behalf. If it is a good dream, with this offering I ask for its materialisation.”
70.Indeedm if it is a cunningly bad dream, that evil spirit will depart from you because it will realise that you have reported it to God.
71.But if it is a good dream, whatever you have seen in your dream will, indeed, materialise through Yahuah as per your supplication!
72.The angel says if you adopt such a practice, you will block all evil spirits that come to you in dreams.
73.Just as the Word directs us to examine spirits, as well as fake prophets, one cannot distinguish between the evil spirit and the Holy Spirit if they are not pious because one cannot just understand any spirit on the basis of how it appears since any spirit manifests in any form.
74.One can just identify an evil spirit on the basis of its teaching that is contrary to God’s Law!
75.An evil spirit can never, ever teach one to observe God’s Law. But one cannot just know this if they are not pious!
76.Therefore, always ensure that you study spirits on the basis of messages they bring to you, not on the basis of any form in which they appear to you.
