As a leader of the Nazarites of God, I must clarify that it was Prophet Isaiah Shembe (pbuh) who revived Mosaic Faith!
He even wrote that down in verse 3 of the Shabbat Liturgical Prayer which reads thus: “Fear Yahuah, generations and generations, and observe His laws that He wrote for you through His Servant Moshe so that your worship may be acceptable to Elohim of hosts!”
1.Shabbat Shalom to the saints. The topic for this sermon is: ”The issue of not understanding the nature of divinity.”
2.In Deuteronomy 5:6-7, Yahuah our God uttered these words: “I am the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. Thou shalt have none other gods before me.” – King James Version
3.When Yahuah says, ‘thou shalt have none other gods before me,’ that does not solely refer to an object or a person that may refer to as God, but whatever takes God’s place in worship activities is then another god!
4.’Worshipping’ something pertains to asking for something, giving thanks to anything or making sacrifices to anything as if to Yahuah! Yahuah’s faith system is monotheistic!
5.In Exodus 22:20, we read: “He that sacrificeth unto any god, save unto the Lord only, he shall be utterly destroyed!” – KJV
6.Who is the God that we are referring to? This God is the Creator of heaven and earth who is called Yahuah in the Bible!
7.All the pious people glorify Yahuah by observing His laws which He brought to us through Moshe.
8.But while we are engaging on spiritual matters, I often come across a gospel that intrigues me!
9.This gospel says: The difference between spirituality and religion is that Religion is taught, it was formed by men about God or about spiritual matters.
10.But spirituality was not created by men, it is as old as man! It is something that we are given, everyman is a spiritual being!
11.African continent was a spiritual continent, not a religious continent. Religions came to Afrika!”
12.This person was expanding on some aspects of his book in which he outlines African Spirituality as opposed to religions!
13.Because this teaching is attributed to people who say they have carried out research projects on what they are asserting, I am not opposing them, but I, too, want to understand their teaching so that, as a priest, I may convey this knowledge to congregants!
14.Firstly, this teaching says there was no religion in Africa, but it was brought by the gentiles. What existed in Africa was African Spirituality, a medium through which we communicated with spiritual entities or the Creator!!
15.My first issue is that I am not aware which continent they refer to as Africa because as far as I know, in antiquity Africa, included Northeast Africa, now called the Middle East!
16.There are a few concerns that I would like to have addressed concerning this African Spirituality which is not similar to religion!
17.As we have explained, according to my knowledge, Africa includes Northeast Africa, now called the Middle East which is tectonic plate of the continent of black people, Africa!
18.We have explained quite extensively about the origins of our faith system from Moshe up to today!
19.According to history, the faith system of the Hebrews, commonly called the Mosaic Faith, was founded by Moshe in 1447 B.C. on Yahuah’s instruction upon Mount Sinai which is here in Africa!
20.Hebrews received this faith system on their way from Kemet from which Moshe had taken them out with Yahuah’s mighty arm after being slaves to Egyptians who were black people too!
21.According to history, the children of Yisra’el were governed by this faith system from that moment until they were conquered by the Romans in 70 A.D.! Therefore, this faith system has always belonged to Africa!
22.We have mentioned on several occasions how the Romans, under Emperor Constantine, destroyed the faith system of the Hebrews, known as Mosaic Faith!
23.After the Hebrews, then known known as the Judeans, had been conquered by the Romans, Emperor Constantine formed Christianity in 325 A.D., and it is still governing us up to this very moment!
24.I do admit that the religion to which most of us subscribe was brought by the gentiles, but not every faith system was brought by the gentiles!
25.Mosaic Faith is the faith system that was founded by Moshe in a spiritual mode since he was led by the Creator! But this faith system was founded here in Africa! It has nothing to do with the religion of the gentiles!
26.Yes, it is true that the religion under which most of us are under is the one that was brought by the gentiles to Africa!
27.It is also true that Christianity is not what can be termed ‘spirituality,’ because it was founded by an emperor, having nothing to do with spirituality because it was a political project!
28.But that does not mean that because this religion was founded by a man, or a council of men, every faith system is therefore founded on the basis of a man’s intellect!
29.It seems as if we do not know ourselves or we have forgotten that our faith system as Yaakov’s Seed, Mosaic Faith, was founded by a black man on Mount Sinai where he had a direct encounter with Yahuah our God!
30.I once heard a woman saying the Bible is a book that has nothing to do with us, black people. I do not know how true that is!
31.I know that many may assume that Mosaic Faith no longer exists because it is no longer a subject of discussion, but that is not the case; Mosaic Faith still exists!
32.Here I am not referring to Judaism which is a religion that was formed by fake Jews, but I am referring to Mosaic Faith which is in the scroll called the Torah, the one that is used in Ethiopia, not the Talmud which is used by the Ashkenazi Jews!
33.Mosaic Faith, here in South Africa, was revived by Prophet Isaiah Shembe (peace be upon him), specifically as the Nazarite Faith System!

36.Every educated person is aware of historiography around the fact that Bible books, the Old and New Testaments, were scripted by the Hebrews, after which they were then combined into one single book, the Bible, after the Roman conquest of the Hebrews!
37.This nation changed so many things in the Bible so that its content would just correspond with their religion.
38.But today, here in South Africa, the prophet who revived Mosaic Faith was Prophet Isaiah Shembe (pbuh)! This is the truth!
39.Though our own intellectuals claim that they are conducting research into this notion of spirituality, but in my opinion, they seem clueless about the origins of African faith system since it was founded by Moshe, destroyed by the gentiles and revived by Shembe! Mosaic Faith was founded in Africa!
40.But one cannot exclude this faith system from spirituality because it was given to Moshe by the Creator! God is a Spirit!
41.The nature of Mosaic Faith is comparable to initiation into the cult of divinity; the difference is that the diviner communicates with the dead whereas the prophet is controlled by the Creator whose name is Yahuah!
42.In other words, the Torah, or the book that contains the first five books of the Old Testament, is the Constitution of the Mosaic Faith! The Bible is the book that contains the conventions of the Mosaic Faith!
43.Mosaic Faith was governed by the Creator Who is a Spirit just as secular spiritualty is governed by the dead who are also spirits!
44.It is historically factual that the books of the Bible were written by the Hebrews; it is not just a belief!
45.Also, it is historically factual that the Hebrews are black people which we are here in South Africa!
46.I do not need to relate the history of Moshe’s faith system because most of us are privy to it.
47.But here I will touch on the history of Shembe’s faith system with a view to demonstrating why I refute the notions that a faith system is invented and that it was brought by the gentiles here in Africa!
48.Prophet Isaiah Shembe was born around 1870 and grew up on a white man’s farm in Harrismith where he lived in a compound as a shepherd.
49.In his life he knew nothing about piety and had never attended school. But around the age of 12, he experienced thunder and lightning before him though the weather was sunny.
50.Then a voice was heard, saying: “Kneel down because you are before your Master!” Shembe knelt down. The voice then said: “Pray!” But he was not capable of praying and had never seen any person praying!
51.Then, he felt something that turned like a wheel within his chest and found himself praying though he had no idea how that came to pass!
52.One day he saw a Bible in a vision, and he was instructed to go and read it in a residence of certain people who had been converted.
53.When he laid his hands on the Bible, he read it though he had never learned how to read; he was taught in heaven how to read it!
54.Shembe was taught all the biblical books by the Creator, and Yahuah even taught him in which chapters, in the holy scriptures, he would get specific teachings!
55.Though the faith system, or the Nazarite faith, was founded here in South Africa, it was not merely through any person’s wisdom, but it was through God’s guidance!
56.Here I am dissecting spirituality just as it is explained by these intellectuals! This is the faith system that was founded here in South Africa.
57.God’s Spirit came upon Shembe just as spirits of the dead come upon mediums, but the Holy Spirit formed a faith system right here in Africa!
58.I am responding to the notion that religion is invented and that there was no faith system in Africa, but religion was brought by the gentiles!
59.The Nazarite faith was started by Shembe right here in Africa, and it revived the Mosaic Faith which had also been founded here in Africa!
60.According to the assertion of our intellectuals, religion is something that was just created by clever people and God is something that was constructed!
61.But the God about Whom Moshe is teaching us is not just a mental concept of the intellectually initiated, but the Creator of heaven and earth came down and chose a person through whom He could bring His faith system to the people, the Hebrew nation!
62.Nothing disturbs me more than hearing a black person claiming that God and the Bible do not even exist but were just created by whites!
63.I am a descendant of the pious, but an angel who has stayed with us up to now came to us in 2006!
64.Though I was pious, when the angel arrived, she strengthened my faith in a significant way because I am not just pious, but I know many heavenly facts!
65.The angel said I must establish an assembly in which I would teach on the basis of the Bible and Prophet Shembe’s teachings!
66.Today I have amazing knowledge of the Bible owing to the angel’s teaching endeavours! The angel is a spirit just as the spirits of the dead are also spiritual entities!
67.Therefore, if communicating with the dead falls under spirituality, staying with an angel who teaches you is also about spirituality!
68.But the angel advanced the faith system that had been started by Shembe who had, thus reviving Mosaic Faith!
69.The Bible has errors because it was written by various humans in various times, but its core message, which consists of Moshe’s teachings, the Torah, is a collection of teachings about worshipping Yahuah the Creator!
70.The whole protocol of worshipping Yahuah our God, who is also the Creator of heaven and earth, is in the Bible!
